Remember that time when you were hiking and made it to your destination, and the VIEW made you stop and ‘catch your breath’? Or what about that song, where the lyrics hit deep in your soul. You know that moment when you took a deep breath just to feel joy? I create my art with that feeling in mind. To offer you an experience that creates a pause, or a ‘catch your breath’ moment allowing a deeper exploration in life. My desire is to create a view were you can sit and disappear into the art. Taking a moment and allowing the painting to speak, as if you were in the great outdoors. Or simply pausing to let the lyrics in a song sink in. Reflecting an experience, or emotion, even a fragment view of a time and place you might have had. If you’re any sort of an outdoor, music lover or plant person you’ll get me. Even if you are a homebody Netflix lover, I get you. I welcome all to explore my art on a deeper level. Allow your soul to speak, allow your emotions to feel, allow your mind and heart to play and feel inspired.
